Mel
Mel
Air carries.
Mel reflects the poetry of breath — the invisible movement through which fire, earth, and air collide. Its name evokes both melody and melding: a moment where elements meet and dissolve into one another.
Mel’s face appears calm and meditative, its open mouth releasing a slow stream of fragrant smoke. As the incense burns, the aroma descends through the form, diffusing softly into the air.
This backflow incense burner brings together three elements: fire, which ignites the incense cone and begins the ritual; earth, through the incense itself, shaped into cones that release the aromatic smoke; and air, which carries the fragrance as it diffuses gently through the space.
Adorned with Swarovski crystals, Mel captures and refracts light, creating a delicate contrast between mineral texture and luminous detail as smoke flows across the surface.
Mel becomes both sculpture and ritual — an object that transforms the atmosphere through breath, light, and scent.
Mel — where breath becomes fragrance.
